The Pokemon Company’s latest update regarding an upcoming pair of cards will certainly delight many fans of the TCG. However, the latest cards could well be considered some of the cutest artworks of all time, and very few will debate it.

The latest reveal occurred on March 18, 2024, as The Pokemon Company revealed two cards on the TCG’s official Instagram account. The first card features a Basic version of Hisuian Growlithe, while the second features a Trainer card for Perrin.

You can find both cards with the Twilight Masquerade expansion coming later in the summer of 2024. Over the last few days, several upcoming items have been revealed to be part of the expansion, but this special illustration of Growlithe is one of the cutest that players can find anywhere. I mean, just look at that face and those bangs.

The Growlithe card belongs to the Fighting type and features 80 HP, which isn’t too shabby for a first evolution. It could be an incredibly useful card to play if your opponent has placed a Stadium Card that offers them a tactical advantage. The card will also offer Take Down, which requires one Ground-type energy and does 40 damage — although Hisuian Growlithe will take 10 self-damage.

Perrin, on the other hand, could be a perfect option to bring a Pokemon of your choice into the play while giving your opponent a sight at up to two other monster cards in your hand. Pair these two together to not only have the most adorable deck at the meet-up but also get a great start to the round if you decide to play these cards rather than display them.

It’s pretty safe to say that once the Twilight Masquerade expansion goes live on May 24, 2024, there will be plenty of suitors for this cute Hisuian Growlithe.
