Opening up the Nintendo Direct today the next smash character was revealed. From the Tekken franchise, Kazuya is the obvious Tekken choice right beside Heihachi. Of course, Demon Kazuya is also a part of his moveset.
Tekken’s Kazuya Enters The Fight As The Next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter
The trailer showcase Kazuya tossing multiple Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighters into a volcano, which is a Tekken staple. It really is the only true way to introduce him into the franchise.
We don’t have a full release date for Kazuya, but we do have a date for when Sakurai will give an in-depth look at the fighter on June 28, 2021. The presentation will be roughly 40 minutes and will not have any announcements about the final character coming to the Fighter’s Pass.
This information comes from the Nintendo of America Twitter, which can be seen below.

If you want to see the amazing reveal trailer you can see that at the bottom of this post. It’s about time Tekken got some representation in Smash. I personally would have loved to see the rep be King, but Kazuya is an excellent choice and deserves to be among the ever-expanding roster.
