In Fire Emblem: Three Houses, players can choose both a male and female form and that same selection can be seen in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Even cooler is that the team added a “turn-based” style to Byleth’s combat as a way to pay special tribute to the Fire Emblem franchise as a whole.

Byleth will be making it into the game on January 28th, which is good news for those that really can’t wait to inject even more Fire Emblem into their veins. With Byleth also comes a new stage and Fire Emblem: Three Houses music, with the stage itself being the Garreg Mach Monastery.

During the reveal, Nintendo also confirmed that even more fighters on the way with a total of 11 Challenger Packs coming soon. More Challenger Packs means another Challenger Pass for players to opt into should they choose and for those that do pre-purchase, there’s an exclusive new costume as a special treat.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
