This morning Sony announced that there would be a State of Play on Thursday, February 23, 2023. It will run for roughly 45 minutes and include 16 games. Most of these games will be third-party games like the upcoming Destiny 2 expansion Ligthfall. However, we learned we would see more of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Will FINALLY Show More Gameplay This Week
In the State of Play announcement, Sony says there will be 15 minutes of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League gameplay. We have not seen much of this game since its reveal in 2020.
We saw some more of the game at The Game Awards back in December, but we have yet to see a full gameplay session of the game, especially since it is still planned to release on May 26, 2023. The team at Rocksteady has been working on Suicide Squad since wrapping up Arkham VR for the PSVR back in 2016.
We saw a leaked image of the game showcasing a battle pass and other online components earlier this year, but it’s about time we finally see some gameplay and learn what this game’s mission structure and open-world elements look like.
At The Game Awards, we learned that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League would be Kevin Conroy’s final performance as Batman. The actor passed away late last year at the young age of 66. We are excited to hear Conroy voice this iconic character one last time.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on May 26, 2023.
What will the State of Play show us? Who’s to say, but 15 minutes is a long time to show off the game, and we hope to understand better what exactly Rocksteady Studios has in store for us.
