Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Celebration Edition Is The Next Free EGS Game On January 14

The next free game on the Epic Games Store will be Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Celebration Edition. After it’s tumultuous launch, Battlefront 2 has had a resurgence with the Celebration Edition, which unlocks all of the in-game items.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Celebration Edition Is The Next Free EGS Game On January 14

This means you’ll have all of the heroes, weapons, and cosmetic items available right from your first match. This edition came out in 2019 but will now be free on the Epic Games Store from January 14-21.

This is great for anyone who never picked it up or hasn’t p[layed since it first launched. This should help revitalize the player base and give Star Wars fans something to dig into while they wait for the next season for The Mandalorian. 

The Celebration Edition is also available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it will only be free next week on the Epic Games Store.

If you’re trying to make Yoda battle Jango Fett in a duel to the death, you can do that in this game! 

It’s been a long road for Battlefront 2, but it has added new maps and modes, additional content from the latest movies, and removed any need for in-game purchases. Regardless of how you felt at launch, this game has been changing. 

While it’s important not to forget the lessons we learned about the lootbox controversy back when Battlefront 2 launched in 2017, Dice has been working to correct all of the bad blood people had with this game.
