Amy Hennig, co-founder of Skydance New Media will be working with Lucasfilm Games on an all-new original Star Wars game.
Skydance New Media & Lucasfilm Games Creating New Original Star Wars Game
This announcement comes months after learning that Hennig would be working with Marvel Entertainment as Writer and Director for a new game.
VP of Lucasfilm Games gave a quote in the Skydance New Media blogpost on this new venture.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working again with Amy. She and the Skydance New Media team have the talent and ambition to create a unique Star Wars adventure. Their vision for making inviting, cinematic interactive entertainment makes this collaboration very exciting. We’re working hard with their team of experienced and talented developers, and we’re looking forward to sharing more with Star Wars fans when the time is right.”
Hennig has worked on Star Wars projects in the past that have never seen the light of day. Most notably being Project Ragtag which was canned by EA and Visceral Studios shuttered.
We don’t have any additional information about the Star Wars or Marvel games at this time. We hope to hear more about these projects soon.
