Final Destination Fantasy

During The Game Awards tonight, Nintendo announced the next fighter to join the roster in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The last fighter, Minecraft Steve, was announced and released just a couple of months ago, but Nintendo is already ready to talk about the next fighter.

The Game Awards had the honor in 2018 of announcing the first fighter to join the DLC roster, which was Joker from Persona 5 (We love to see it).

This is the second wave of content for Super Smash Bros Ultimate and the One-Winged Angel himself, Sephiroth is the third fighter in the second Fighter’s Pass, there are still three more to go, so who could be left?

This certainly was unexpected because after Minecraft Steve most people expected either Jonesy from Fortnite or Monster Hunter. We certainly didn’t see this coming.

You can now play the fated duel between Cloud and Sephiroth in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate because Sephiroth launches this month.

If you don’t want to purchase the Fighter’s Pass you can buy each fighter for $5.99 a piece. This includes the fighter, a new stage, and whatever assortment of music comes with the fighter.

There have been plenty of wild announcements and wins at The Game Awards so far. Like Laura Bailey winning Best Performance for her role as Abbey in The Last of Us Part 2.
