It’s been almost two years since Ubisoft released the downloadable side-scrolling “retro” game Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, which ties in with the cult film of the same name.  The game is a lot of fun, especially when you add some friends to the mix.  But, oddly enough, Ubisoft has now planned some additional downloadable goodies for the game.  Better late than never, right?

First of all, it’ll be adding a new character, Wallace Wells, to the mix.  He’ll be available as part of the $5 (400 Microsoft point) add-on, joining Knives, Scott and the rest of the gang as they battle the League of Evil Exes.

If that’s not enough…how about online multiplayer?  The add-on will now allow you to hop on Xbox Live to join others in a frivolous game of thug beating.  Those of you who thought the game was too tough on your own, your prayers have been answered.

Note: these add-ons are only confirmed for Xbox Live at the moment, but we’re very sure that the PlayStation Network will be getting its turn as well.  Stay tuned for more info.  Check out the game in the meantime.  We’re in lesbians with it.
