When Deus Ex: Human Revolution came out nearly two years ago, it launched the popular sci-fi series into a whole new realm with terrific ideas, fast action and hours worth of replayability. We may have only seen the start of the revamped franchise, however.
Along with a rumored new game for the series to be unveiled as soon as E3, it looks like Square Enix could be planning to bring the original to the Wii U as well. Amazon has a listing for a Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut for the system, one that’s dated for a May 7th release. Rumor has it that the game will include additional content, GamePad support for the Neural Hub and a whole new augmentation.
Square Enix had no comment on the project at this point. However, the publisher is rumored to be showing a new Wii U game at PAX East this weekend, so this could very well be it. We’ll let you know what we find in Boston over the next few days. The future could be bright…
