Warner Bros. has been teasing a new DC game for a while now but the vague references were just enough to make fans and media spiral into what they could possibly be working on. From a Court of Owls Batman game to a possible Superman open-world adventure, the rumors have been aplenty but one source is “confirming” that the next journey will be a Warner Bros./Rocksteady Suicide Squad game.
The latest report comes from Eurogamer following a recent leak of domain names that kicked that rumor mill back up at full speed. For those that may not be familiar with Rocksteady, this is the studio that is behind Batman Arkham Asylum, and it looks like they aren’t straying far from the DC universe.
According to the most recent report, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a high contender for the final game title as a list of domain names offers insights into what the possible direction could be. Other domains include:
- GothamKnightsGame
- SuicideSquadGame
GothamKnights definitely fits the bill for the long-rumored Court of Owls Batman game. We know that the Arkham Origins studio is working on a Batman title under Warner Bros. Montreal, though an official announcement for that has yet to be seen as well outside of a few vague social media teasers.

Both the Suicide Squad game and the new Batman adventure are reportedly set to be revealed during an event in August for DC Fandome. According to the site, the Suicide Squad game reveal will be a small teaser, not a full-blown showcase or gameplay. Both titles are reportedly set for a next-gen release, as well.
