It’s not even Halloween yet, but the Rocket League team wants you in the winter wonderland spirit anyway. That’s fair, because Rocket League definitely knows how to bring enjoyable content to the table and as the game approaches its fifth birthday, the team over at Psyonix is looking ahead.

Ready for the road ahead for Rocket League? Here’s what you have to look forward to!

Rocket League competitive season 12 rewards:

The end of the competitive season 12 in Rocket League will have tons in store for players in order to reward their dedication to the game. The upcoming rewards will also feature a first for the company with the endgame being Universal Animated Decals!

According to Psyonix, “Each rank will have its own unique Animated Decal that can be equipped to any customizable vehicle. Don’t forget, you still have to complete placement matches in a Competitive Playlist and fulfill the appropriate Season Reward Level to earn rewards for Competitive Season 12 when it ends in December. Here are the Season 12 Decals in all their glory.”

DLC

Another change Psyonix is making is that they are prepping to include all original DLC to the base version of Rocket League. The team states, “Following an update before the end of the year, everything included in the Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run DLC Packs will be automatically available for all Rocket League owners. In other words, all owners of Rocket League will also have access to Dominus, Takumi, Scarab, Zippy, Ripper, and Grog.”

That means that the above DLC will not be for sale anymore starting today. For those that purchased said DLC from October 1st until now will also be issued a refund through their first-party platform. Exact dates are coming soon!

Inventory

Inventories can get overloaded – fast – and it’s because of that growth that the studio is introducing Inventory Archiving. Instead of all of one’s inventory being in the main tab, there will instead be an “Archived” tab as a secondary means of storage. Keep the items you love without having to turn down anything new, it’s a win/win!

Frosty Fest 2019

Tis the season to be jolly because once the current Halloween Stranger Things event wraps up, Psyonix is bringing back Frosty Fest for December. New customization options, new themes, same awesome experience that Rocket League fans love and enjoy.

There’s even more on the way so stay tuned to our Rocket League hub here for more news as it happens!
