Rocket League Season 2 Rocket Pass Announcement Trailer

Love a good Synth.

Rocket League went free to play back in September. After Epic Games acquired developer Psynoix, Rocket League quickly adopted the Fortnite Battle Pass method. Now Rocket League is back to announce its second season of content for what they call the “Rocket Pass.” You can check out the trailer below.

Here’s the official Youtube video description, which gives a deeper dive into what players will experience.

“Rocket Pass is gearing up for the main stage, and the star of the show is the latest car, R3MX! Unlock R3MX immediately with Rocket Pass Premium. Plus, get access to XP Boosts, Extra Rocket League Weekly and Season Challenges, and 70+ Tiers of unique items!”

The Rocket League website also had some more information on what players can expect from the season 2 Rocket Pass.

“Premium Players can progress beyond tier 70 to ear painted, certified, and special edition versions of selectRocket Pass items, plus, they’re tradeable!

There are two different versions of the Rocket Pass, one that is free and offers only a few rewards from the entire pass, or the premium version, which costs $10. This is pretty standard for Battle Passes across the board, from Fortnite to Call of Duty.

The trailer showcases some Rocket Pass items that are synced to the audio, which is a nice touch for the neon synthwave aesthetic it’s going for this season.

If you’re a Rocket League fan, you better get ready because season 2 of Rocket League starts next week on December 9.
