Resident Evil 6 finally released into stores this week, with millions of fans wondering what was next for Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield and the others in the face of a monster apocalypse. A lot of folks weren’t too keen on the game, mainly game critics who felt it was going a little too far over the top. Still, Capcom has had nothing but good news to report on it.
According to the company, 4.5 million copies of the game have been shipped worldwide, a huge number compared to the company’s other releases. Now, that’s not indicating anything in sales, but it does show the title is in rather high demand, even with the problems critics feel like pointing out.
We’ll have to see how this title fares in the weeks ahead. Once we hear more on official sales numbers, we’ll let you know.
Honestly, it’s not that bad! It’s more action than survivor horror, but filled with tense, exciting moments. Give it a rent, at least.
