Redfall Metacritic Score Revealed

How did critics rate Arkane's new vampire-slaying FPS?

After delays and uncertainty, Redfall has finally launched on PC and Xbox Series X|S on May 1, 2023. The new first-person shooter developed by Arkane Studios Austin and published by Bethesda Softworks was one of 2023’s most highly anticipated console exclusives of the year. The game has also officially received its first critic scores from the review aggregator Metacritic. So, was Redfall’s open world, vampire-slaying combat able to live up to the hype? Redfall Metascores

As of this writing Redfall has obtained the following critic Metascores:

  • 62 on PC
  • 64 on Xbox Series X|S

This score signals mixed reviews from critics and is clearly a disappointing result for the long-awaited title. Redfall does not currently rate in the top 100 games in the history of the Xbox Series X|S or PC, per Metacritic’s rankings.

Arkane Studios is a name held in high regard based on many of the developer’s past acclaimed experiences.
