Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is Getting New Story DLC This Year

New content coming soon.

If you enjoyed playing Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, then there’s good news—story DLC is on the way, which will expand on the game’s lore. According to a post-launch roadmap posted to X on March 13, 2024, a handful of new modes are also coming.

The developers have not confirmed the exact date for the DLC, but fans will be getting it “later in 2024.” This wording leads us to believe it could appear as early as Fall 2024, but the details surrounding it are scarce as of writing.

There’s a chance that the upcoming story DLC might be a paid addition. Unlike the contents coming as part of the March, Spring, and Summer updates, there’s no mention of it being free. However, it’s best to wait for Ubisoft to confirm whether the story DLC will cost anything extra. There hasn’t been any mention of the DLC’s potential content, so it remains open for speculation.

As mentioned above, three updates will come before the new Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown story DLC in late 2024:

  • March 2024: Speedrun mode, Permadeath mode, and new Sargon outfits.
  • Spring 2024: Boss Rush mode and more new Sargon outfits.
  • Summer 2024: New combat, puzzle, and platform challenges in the form of Divine Trials will be coming, alongside more cosmetics.
