Pokemon Unite Coming to Mobile September 22

Pokemon Unite is officially getting a mobile release! According to information shared during today’s Pokemon Presents, Pokemon Unite will be available on both Android and iOS starting Wednesday, September 22.

Currently, you can pre-register for Pokemon Unite on both the App Store and Google Play. In a post on the official Pokemon Unite website, it was mentioned that if pre-registration reaches 2,500,000, everyone who’s pre-registered will receive a Pikachu Unite license.

If pre-registration reaches 5,000,000, players who’ve pre-registered will get a special Holowear – Festival Style: Pikachu.

“If and when those thresholds are reached,” explains the post on the Pokemon Unite website.

“Claim the Pikachu Unite license and Holowear by logging in to the mobile version of Pokemon Unite and completing the log-in event by October 31, 2021, at 7:59 a.m. (PDT). Players who already have the Pikachu Unite license will receive Aeos coins instead.”

The post notes that Mamoswine and Sylveon were recently announced as new playable Pokemon that will be available soon. Additionally, players can log in to the Nintendo Switch version of Pokemon Unite and receive a Zeraora Unite license as a special gift.

Should you decide to link your account between the Nintendo Switch and mobile versions, you’ll be able to use Zeraora on mobile in addition to Nintendo Switch. This particular piece of information in the post is exciting as it confirms players will be able to link their account.

Originally, Pokemon Unite released for Nintendo Switch back on July 21. Since then, it’s amassed a considerable amount of popularity, so the news that the game is also coming to mobile is big as it’ll expand the player base even more.

Which is good news given that Pokemon Unite will also support crossplay between mobile and Nintendo Switch.

For more on Pokemon Unite and its September 22 mobile release, be sure to read through the full post on the game’s official website, and be sure to pre-register for the game if you haven’t done so already on either the App Store or Google Play.
