Yes, you read that right, every single legendary. You will be able to catch each of them through a new mode called Dynamax Adventure. The presentation didn’t detail how this new mode will work, but it did mention that it’s an extension of Max Raid Battles.

The official Pokemon website has some more information on what players can expect with their time in The Crown Tundra.

“Early in your adventures here, a man named Peony will appoint you as the leader of his exploration team in the Crown Tundra. You’ll be tasked with investigating the reaches of this frozen land—including the depths of a Pokémon Den, something you’ve so far been able to glimpse only during Max Raid Battles!”

A new trailer for the expansion shows off some of the Pokemon coming to The Crown Tundra. A Galarian version of Slowking is shown off and it’s pure nightmare fuel.

The expansion will also have a new tournament that allows players to team up with their favorite trainers from the Pokemon Sword and Shield story. The Galarian Star Tournament is a series of double battles against the very best of the Galar region.

The Crown Tundra releases on October 22, 2020. If you haven’t picked up Pokemon Sword and Shield, a new all-in-one version of the game will release on November 6. This includes the game and both expansions. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to jump into the world of Pokemon.

Players can also get a collection of Pikachus wearing different hats. No official word on exactly how you can get them all, but the presentation gave the code “P1ikachuget” as the first code.

The presentation ended with a music video in collaboration with the band Bump of Chicken. The video celebrates all of the previous games’ old trainers and is worth watching for any Pokemon fan.
