When Niantic first announced that the Legendary Psychic Pokemon MewTwo would be making its grand return to Pokemon GO, fans of the mobile cache adventure were excited and ready to get the show on the road. Unfortunately for those super eager, there has been a slight change of plans.
The company took to Twitter to address the Pokemon GO Mewtwo Legendary raid scheduling change, which revealed a new date set for October 8th at 6 PM local time. For those that celebrate Yom Kippur, a religious holiday, this could pose a few issues – and has already. Some fans took to the thread asking Niantic to reconsider the date, though whether or not they will listen remains to be seen.
Trainers, the make-up Legendary Raid Hour featuring Mewtwo with the move Psystrike will be on October 8, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Stay tuned for details.

For those that missed out on the original date, the MewTwo Raid was initially set for September 18th, which has come and gone. With technical difficulties cited as the reason for delay, the decision to pull the event makes sense, especially when there was a small upset regarding the Tier level of MewTwo which bumped it from a 5 to a 6.
