Pokemon Go is having a crossover event with the upcoming Nintendo Switch game New Pokemon Snap The event will allow players to take on new research tasks featuring a Pokemon Go snapshot theme.
Pokemon Go Celebrates The Release of New Pokemon Snap With Crossover Event
You’ll have to catch different Pokemon in Pokemon Go that are found around the new region in New Pokemon Snap called the Lental region.
The event will feature new camera-themed avatar items in the Pokemon Go Style Shop.
Most importantly Smeargle will be encountered through completing certain research tasks. You’ll even have the chance to find a shiny version of this Pokemon!
To further collaborate with New Pokemon Snap, the special research tasks in Pokemon Go will be snapshot-themed, so be sure to take plenty of Pokemon snapshots.
The New Pokemon Snap Celebration event begins on Thursday, April 29 at 10 am your local time. The event will end on Sunday, May 2nd at 8 pm your local time.
New Pokemon Snap launches on the Nintendo Switch on Friday, April 30, 2021.
