With loads of other free games and deals, PlayStation Plus looks like a better deal all the time.
If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to get Dead Space 2… now may be the time. PlayStation Plus subscribers can download the horror game for free as part of Sony’s Instant Games Collection.
Additionally, the Dead Space 2 side-story DLC Severed is half-price as well, as are the game’s extra weapons and suits packs. The nine other titles in the offer include Darksiders and Renegade Ops, which will be replaced on August 15, in addition to Outland, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Saints Row 2, inFamous 2, MotorStorm Apocalypse and LittleBigPlanet 2.
To top off this PlayStation Plus offering, the newly-released on PS3 title Rock of Ages. Not related to the recent Tom Cruise movie of the same game, the quirky title could be best described as tower defense-meets-pinball and it will be available until August 29.
