Oscar Isaac starred in the most recent Star Wars trilogy as Resistance pilot Poe Dameron. It’s exciting to see him land a role in another huge franchise.
For those unfamiliar with Metal Gear Solid, here’s the official description of the game that many people considered the greatest video game franchise.
“Players control Solid Snake, a soldier who infiltrates a nuclear weapons facility to neutralize the terrorist threat from FOXHOUND, a renegade special forces unit. Snake must liberate hostages and stop the terrorists from launching a nuclear strike.”
It’s an over-the-top franchise developed by Hideo Kojima back when he was still at Konami. The franchise has pretty much been dormant since Kojima’s departure.
