No Man’s Sky is making the leap to next-generation consoles. Today, Hello Games announced exactly what players could expect from patch 3.10, which will bring a myriad of features to the PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

A new trailer showcasing some of the new features and graphical improvements can be seen below.
The No Man’s Sky website dives into more detail about what players will experience when the patch goes live later this year.
Some notable features include more prosperous base construction, allowing bases to reach more ambitious heights and more complex structures. The multiplayer mode will also be expanded to allow 32 players per session. This will undoubtedly help make the world of No Man’s Sky feel even more alive.
How will your current-generation versions of the game transfer to your new shiny Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5?
“Seamlessly transition your No Man’s Sky journey to the next generation. Xbox One saves are automatically compatible with the next Xbox generation, and PS4 players can upload their save data in-game for download on PS5.”
Hello Games has also added crossplay to No Man’s Sky on top of free upgrades for players, allowing console players to play alongside all other platforms.
So with the hardware power of next-generation consoles, what can p[layers expect out of their framerate? Well, No Man’s Sky will provide 4K resolutions at 60 frames per second for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The Xbox Series S will be able to choose between 30 or 60 FPS performance mode.
