Mortal Kombat director Ed Boon is known for strategically teasing new content in his tweets, but there are so many times when a simple joke is ran with for quick content. That seems to be the case with his latest tweet because we’re seeing a ton of talk about a new tweet that many are claiming is teasing Snake Eyes DLC despite Boon being in actual Vegas for the 2020 DICE showcase. Las Vegas, as in the home of gambling. Hence the dice.

That’s not to say that some of the responding chatter wasn’t warranted, Boon is definitely known for his occasional troll, but there are those that know better and kind of ran with it anyway despite the very obvious “Vegas” caption written above the GIF itself. Or maybe I’m wrong and I’m just being a massive butt, who’s to say? Well, Boon, for one:
No, wasn’t a DLC tease… just saying I was at D.I.C.E. https://t.co/L0buhYvSGO

With DC’s Joker now available and Spawn on the way with a few more surprises tucked away in the NetherRealm sleeve, anything is possible – even Snake Eyes – but this tweet? It ain’t it, chief.
