NIS America has announced their upcoming line-up for this year, one that will bring a return to the universe of Disgaea, as well as two new games.

Fans of the long-running Disgaea series will be pleased with the latest addition, Disgaea Dimension 2: A Brighter Darkness, which will release for PlayStation 3.  Lahari, Etna and Flonne will return from the original game, and a new master/pupil system will be implemented to make the tactical strategy gameplay stronger than ever.

NIS’ Disgaea team is also hard at work on a game called The Guided Fata Paradox, for PSP, which is a “spiritual successor to ZHP Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman”, according to the company.  Expect some good humor from the game, along with plenty of gameplay challenges.

Finally, the PS3 game Time and Eternity is a role-playing game with a beautiful 2D/3D anime hand-drawn style that can’t be beat, with quirky characters and interesting gameplay tactics galore.  It will be available in both retail form and on PlayStation Network.

We’ll have more details on these games in the months ahead.
