Despite Nintendo’s best effort to promote the Wii U like a bandit, it’s not quite ready to give up on its original Wii just yet.  The company has announced a pair of new special bundles that it’ll be releasing this holiday season to support its cheap price and vast game library.

First up is a bundle that includes a white Wii system and a copy of the game Just Dance 4, Ubisoft’s latest toe-tapping sequel.  The package will set you back $130, a decent savings considering that the dance game by itself is around $40.

The other bundle may be of more interest to “hardcore” fans.  A special blue Wii system (with blue remote) will be bundled with the game Skylanders Giants, Activision’s latest platforming adventure.  It’ll also include three Skylanders figures, including a special blue Tree Rex (because blue is… environmental?) and a Portal of Power to put the figures on.  It’ll be $150.

No date has been given on these bundles, but you can safely count on them being ready before the holidays.
