Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Gets Wizard’s Edition

Beautiful box set for Ghibli RPG

A rather attractive box set has been announced for upcoming PS3 RPG Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, publisher Namco Bandai has revealed.

The special set is named “Wizard’s Edition” and includes a hardback version of the spellbook used by the game’s protagonist, Oliver, which is more than 300 pages long. There’s also a plush doll with the likeness of in-game companion Drippy and exclusive DLC in the form of Golden Drongo and Goldenmite familiars.

We don’t yet know the price but for that much stuff, albeit absolutely lovely stuff, it’s probably not too cheap.

The game is the result of Dragon Quest 9 dev team Level-5 and the much-adored Japanese animation company Studio Ghibli. It’s out on Nintendo DS and PS3 in Japan right but doesn’t come to North America till January 22nd. So far there are no plans to bring the Nintendo DS to Western markets.
