It’s a big week – even year – for Star Wars fans. From a new map and reinforcements to Sith troopers, even new aliens, the Rise of the Skywalker update will offer a ton of new ways to experience the online game. While most of the Rise of the Skywalker update is slated for a December 17th launch, the new planet won’t actually arrive until a few days later on the 20th. That being said, that’s the only staggered release for the bigger components of the latest update.

According to the video’s official description, “Immerse yourself in the finale of the Skywalker saga in Star Wars Battlefront 2. Inspired by Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, set foot on an exotic new jungle planet where a fateful war between the Resistance and First Order thunders.

“Starting December 17, 2019, play as the ruthless Sith trooper, rain down fire from the skies with the new Jet trooper, or aid the Resistance with a hard-hitting Ovissian Gunner and resourceful Caphex Spy. BB-8 joins the battlefront in January 2020, bringing bravery and a fast-paced playstyle to the roster.”

As for the game itself, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
