The companies announced today that two more pieces of DLC for the space epic will be coming, with the first slated for next week and the second for March 5th.

First up is Reckoning, a free bundle of multiplayer-oriented content that adds new characters, weapons and item upgrades to your experience.  EA wasn’t quite detailing just what would be added to said bundle, but, hey, it’s free.  It’ll be worth playing around with.

The second piece is Citadel, the final piece of the single player downloadable content.  It’ll set you back a pretty penny at $14.99 (1200 Microsoft points), but it’s well worth it, as Shepard and his/her team head to the Citadel, where you’ll have “the opportunity to reconnect with some of their favorite characters from all three of the Mass Effect game,” according to the press release.  Because nothing beats old friends.

Mass Effect 3 is available now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.  It’s out on Wii U as well, though EA didn’t note when that version would be getting this content, if at all.
