Today, Netflix shot out press materials for its children’s programming lineup for 2022. If you wanna know about Boss Baby or something you’ll have to look elsewhere, but we’re particularly interested in Sonic Prime. Now we know a little bit about what this new show looks and sounds like, including the main voice actors.

First off, the above picture is one of two high-res images released by Netflix, but the second one isn’t much different. There’s also this very brief teaser that was part of a larger package for Netflix’s children’s programming. Check it out:
Sonic himself will be voiced by Deven Mack, a relative newcomer who has previously voiced characters in properties like Dragalia Lost, Bakugan Battle Planet, and Transformers: BotBots. The voice you hear in the teaser is likely a placeholder. The rest of the announced cast is as follows:
- Ashleigh Ball
- Shannon Chan-Kent
- Brian Drummond
- Vincent Tong
- Ian Hanlin
- Kazumi Evans
- Adam Narada
Sonic Prime, produced by the Man of Action group, is coming to Netflix sometime in 2022. According to Netflix’s synopsis, a “multiverse” is part of the story, and we just hope that doesn’t mean Dr. Eggman discovered NFTs.
