Netflix is on a roll lately. Along with airing the second season of House of Cards (which, yes, we’re hooked to) and preparing to air all six seasons of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the streaming media group has announced a deal with the Pokémon Group that will bring the favorite anime series and movies to the service, beginning March 1st.
The deal includes the anime series’ first season, Indigo League, which originally aired back in 1997 (!), in both U.S. and Japanese form. The 14th U.S. season will also be included.
On top of that, two full-length films will also come to the service – Pokémon the Movie: Black – Victini and Reshiram and Pokémon the Movie: White – Victini and Zekrom, both of which came out in July 2011.
Although not the complete series as some may be hoping, this could be the start of better Pokémon programming to come. Stay Poke-tuned.
