Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb revealed that Microsoft is planning a new beta over the next few weeks, one that will not only test stability features for the Xbox 360 console, but also an updated currency system that will do away with Microsoft Points.
The 2013 Xbox Live Update for Xbox 360 Public Beta kicks off soon, and you can sign up directly through your game console when you see the prompt on the main menu. You need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before participating in the program.
Beta slots are filling up quickly, and once it reaches capacity, it’ll be closed for good. So if you wish to take part, sign up. It is free, so you won’t have to worry about using your precious points.
