Mass Effect 3 may be the end of this arc of the space saga, but, honestly, the content just won’t stop coming. BioWare has announced that it will be releasing a new pack of downloadable content on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and PC starting next week, and it won’t set you back a dime.

The pack, titled Retaliation, is a new multiplayer collection featuring a new enemy called the Collectors, who are just plain making a nuisance out of everything.  You’ll also have access to some new unlockable kits, including the Turian Havoc Soldier and the Turian Ghost Infiltrator, so you can add those on.  Additional weapons and upgrades will also be on hand, as well as “hazard” versions of existing maps, so you can do damage while fighting sandstorms, lightning and other environmental dangers.

You’ll also get Retaliation, a new challenge system in multiplayer that checks your co-op performance across the board and gives you “challenge points” to customize your player profile, depending on your experience.  Yep, we do like rewards.

Be sure to check out Retaliation, again, free of charge, when it drops next week!
