The Marvel’s Avengers War for Wakanda War Table just wrapped up and it had plenty of new information surrounding what players can expect from the free expansion dropping tomorrow.
Marvel’s Avengers War for Wakanda War Table Showcases What’s New
It starts by breaking down Black Panther’s moveset, and is exceptionally varied, especially when compared to the other heroes on the roster.
Black Panther has moves that can be powered up using his Intrinisic energy. For instance, his upward slashing claw signature ability allows him to launch enemies into the air with a barrage of attacks but can be powered even further with Intrinsic energy.
Pounce allows him to hop on his enemies and drag them across the floor with more claw attacks. Storing Kinetic energy by blocking attacks with your Intrinsic meter will allow you to perform a percussive blast, draining all of the meters and knocking all of the enemies around you away.
Black Panther can also construct daggers and use them for ranged attacks. These are just a few of the many abilities of Black Panther.
Of course, the War Table also showed off a ton of the new area Wakanda. Filled with lush jungles and large cliffsides, Wakanda is one of the prettiest areas in Marvel’s Avengers.
This expansion also brings along new enemies with different abilities that will change combat from the normal robots you’ve been fighting since day 1.
The biggest change comes from the total UI refresh though. The character menus in the game have been totally changed and condensed to give everything players need on one page. Players will also be able to access their locker from anywhere, and more easily compare items to see which is best.
