A few days ago, we reported that Netherrealm Studios was considering more fighters for the DC Comics brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us. Today, the developer made it official by revealing a long-awaited hero for the game.
Martian Manhunter, an alien warrior who teams up with the Justice League to fight evil, will be the latest addition. Though a release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’s likely he’ll make his debut before the end of summer for all platforms.
The character should be playable this coming week at the DC Comics booth at San Diego Comic-Con, if you feel like giving him a trial run.
In addition, a new skin for Green Lantern will also be available, allowing players to take control of fellow Lantern John Stewart. We’ll let you know once the content has a release date.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.
