Lost Ark, the new Smilgate MMORPG published by Amazon Games has had quite a busy launch week/ Huge player counts that broke Steam records, a hefty viewership on Twitch, and even server congestion. In fact, it’s become so popular Smilegate is currently adding a whole new region in Europe to accommodate the huge population.

On a blogpost Smilegate talks about its plans t quickly put up a new region for European players. This new region will be a distinct, separate region from the rest of Central Europe so it will not have cross-region play. It also means that players’ currencies like Royal Crystals and Silver will not be available on this new region.
This region is created moreso for new players who haven’t made a character yet, however, if you aren’t attached to anything yet you’re still able to move over and create another character on these new servers.
As both an apology for the server troubles and a thank you to everyone who played Lost Ark in its first week will receive the rewards listed below.
