Just a couple of days ago, Sony unveiled a slick new white-colored model of its latest PlayStation 3 slim system, though no U.S. release date was given on it just yet…making us wonder if we had to import it to get our hands on it. Thankfully, Sony Computer Entertainment of America saved us that burden by officially announcing the system for U.S. release. Whew, dodged a bullet there.
The Crystal White PlayStation 3 Limited Edition Bundle will come with a 500 GB white PS3 system, as well as a year of PlayStation Plus, which will give you access to an “instant” downloadable game library that includes Infamous 2, Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One and LittleBigPlanet 2, amongst other games. You’ll also have access to 1 GB of storage space as well as discounts on games throughout the PlayStation Store, as well as freebies, like this week’s Darksiders.
The bundle will set you back $299.99, and will arrive in stores later this month, on January 27th. If you didn’t already plunk down money on the cool Assassin’s Creed III bundle that came out, this is definitely the way to go.
