If you’ve been trying to figure out how to beat the Ya Naga shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, we’ve got all the details you need to find and complete the shrine, as well as get to the single chest inside. Detailed below is a full Ya Naga Shrine walkthrough for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, including its location and all puzzle solutions.
Ya Naga Shrine Guide
The Ya Naga shrine in Zelda: Breath of the Wild is located northwest of the Lake Tower in the southern part of the map. You can find the shrine in the small land mass known as Hylia Island, right in the middle of Lake Hylia, which is to the far south of Central Hyrule.
Once you’re inside the shrine, head up the stairs straight ahead and drop a circular Remote Bomb into the funnel. Before you detonate the Remote Bomb, switch to the square Remote Bomb and head up the next flight of stairs to the large stone block ahead. Place a square Remote Bomb on top of the stone block then head back down to the lower area.
Look up to see a series of stone blocks lining the ceiling. Detonate the circular Remote Bomb to launch the first stone block high into the air, then quickly switch to the square Remote Bomb so you can detonate that once the stone block reaches the ceiling. This causes most of the stone blocks lining the ceiling to explode.
Place another circular Remote Bomb into the funnel and move on top of the stone block again. This time stay on top of the stone block and face to the right as you detonate the circular Remote Bomb. Link is launched high into the air. Once he reaches maximum height, use the glider to float down to the right.
You will see a chest sitting on top of a pillar to the right. Float down to the chest and open it to obtain the Eightfold Blade (15 Attack). You can now glide down to the monk located to the right of the chest. Speak with the monk to complete the shrine.
