Klonoa, the 1997 platformer was recently announced to be remastered for the Nintendo Switch. This remaster will bring Klonoa: Door the Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil to life on modern consoles.
Klonoa 1 & 2 Vinyl Pre-Orders Feature New Artwork
Now, both of these original soundtracks are being brought to vinyl over at Ship to Shore. You can pick up both of these beautiful vinyl records for $40 each, so $80 total if you’re trying to snag both of them.
Each set has two different variants. You can get the splatter style (which is shown in the picture above) or a fully clear set if you want something a little more subtle. Alongside the newly done artwork, the description of the product also mentions
“Also includes a printed insert featuring archival artwork from the BANDAI NAMCO archives alongside new liner notes by Retronauts’ Jeremy Parish.”
For the sequel Lunatea’s Veil vinyl, fans will also notice new artwork done by Drew Wise, and Liner notes by Video Game Groove’s host Anthony John Agnello.
These are both excellent collector’s items for fans of Klonoa and a great way to celebrate before the remasters release on July 8, 2022.
The vinyl pre-orders are expected to ship in mid to late Q2 of 2022.
