In a new trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, we got another glimpse into the world 100 years ago. Despite Hyrule Warriors being in the Musou genre, it seems that Age of Calamity will be very story-focused.

Helping flesh out the events before 2017’s Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity showcases the fall of the campions and how Calamity Ganon turned the tides on our hero. This trailer moves away from the heavier side of things to show us some familiar faces.

You might remember Purah from Breath of the Wild as the person who gives you the camera upgrade for your Sheikah Slate. We get to see a younger version of her as well as Robbie.

Both of these members of the Sheikah appear to play a significant role in helping out our champions throughout the game. Even though the trailer is only a glance at them, it’s nice to know we might get some further information on them and how they helped our champions try to save the day.

We also get another brief glimpse of the King of Hyrule, which is always welcomed as we did not get enough of him in Breath of the Wild. The trailer was extremely short, but that didn’t stop us from getting excited about the adventure that awaits when Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity releases.

Age of Calamity releases on November 20, 2020. If you’re unsure what to expect from the game, you can read the official game description down below.
