For those unfamiliar with Returnal, it was first unveiled during the PlayStation 5 showcase. Here is the official description.
“After crash-landing on this shape-shifting world, Selene must search through the barren landscape of an ancient civilization for her escape. Isolated and alone, she finds herself fighting tooth and nail for survival. Again and again, she’s defeated – forced to restart her journey every time she dies.”
Housemarque has made Resogun, Matterfall, and Nex Machina Death Machine. Housemarque is mostly known for its arcade-style games, but Returnal is the first game of this caliber the studio is releasing.
