Hotline Miami left quite the bloody mark on gamers, with the ability to smash opponents to pieces.  While we patiently await the game’s arrival on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita later this year, we’ve learned that another dose of Miami-bound goodness is on the way.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number has been announced, and creators Jonatan Soderstrom and Dennis Wedin have already confirmed this’ll be the last one – you won’t get a Hotline Miami 3.  That said, this game is filled with 20 chapters of over-the-top violence, backed by new characters and plenty of surprises.

Like before, you’ll have to stay on your toes, as the game still has the “one hit and you’re dead” rule, whether it’s with a shotgun blast or a smack to the head with a baseball bat.  You’ll have to strategize through levels, cunningly taking out enemies while staying alive long enough to complete missions.

The game will arrive later this year for PC and Mac.
