The PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn took the gaming world by storm with its incredible narrative and stunning open-world. With a breath-taking story and a protagonist that many instantly fell in love with, it’s not surprising that fans would be anxious to know if it would ever make the leap from PlayStation onto other platforms. After numerous leaks and rumors, it’s finally confirmed that Horizon Zero Dawn is making its way to PC so bring on the Thomas the Tank Engine mods!
The news comes by way of the PlayStation Blog thanks to a brand new interview with Sony’s Head of Worldwide Studios, Hermen Hulst. When asked if the Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition was coming to PC, Hulst responded “Yes, I can confirm that Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC this summer…. There will be more information coming from Guerrilla, from the new studio directors [Michiel van der Leeuw, JB van Beek, and Angie Smets] pretty soon.”
The talk about this happening has been going down for awhile now and the rumor mill kicked up once more when the Death Stranding PC news hit considering that was such a high profile exclusive. As someone that absolutely adored the Horizon story, I’m so excited to see this come to PC. From just how stunning of a game it is to the unlimited mod potential, seeing another exclusive make its way to another platform is phenomenal for those that don’t want to own one of each platform.
We don’t have a release date yet at this time other than the target window of Summer, but hopefully we will be learning more about the Horizon Zero Dawn PC release soon!
