The big photo drop of the week appeared on the official PlayStation site immediately following up after the indefinite delay news. But we know what you’re here for, so have at these stunning new in-game shots:

For those that may have missed out on the earlier announcement, the team over at Naughty Dog also issued a statement earlier this week to talk about the reasoning behind the delay. According to the studio’s statement, “The good news is, we’re nearly done with the development of The Last of Us Part II. We are in the midst of fixing our final bugs. However, even with us finishing the game, we were faced with the reality that due to logistics beyond our control, we couldn’t launch The Last of Us Part II to our satisfaction. We want to make sure everyone gets to play The Last of Us Part II around the same time, ensuring that we’re doing everything possible to preserve the best experience for everyone. This meant delaying the game until such a time where we can solve these logistic issues.”

The Last of Us Part II is currently without a release date at this time for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players. We will keep you up-to-date when the status of this game’s release changes.
