When Master Chief is up to something, chances are that we’re going to find out about it, even if Microsoft isn’t officially ready to talk about it yet.  That said, we’ve learned about an awesome new system bundle that you probably don’t want to miss out on, especially if you love everything Halo.

IGN has revealed that a new system bundle featuring the upcoming Master Chief return Halo 4 is in the works, which shouldn’t be a surprise as Microsoft has released previous bundles for games like Kinect Star Wars and Gears of War 3.  This bundle, ranged to go around $400, features a decked out Halo 4 system with a 320 GB hard drive, two awesome-looking controllers, a headset and a copy of Halo 4, as pictured above.  And yes, when you turn on the system or hit the eject button, you’re treated to custom Halo 4 noises.  As expected.

But the system will also come with special downloadable content as well.  Though we’re not sure what that is yet, it could entail to special weapon skins or Avatars for the player’s use within the game and on the Xbox Live Dashboard.

Microsoft isn’t officially talking the bundle yet, but don’t be surprised if they announce it next month at PAX Prime, as the company is expected to bring back the Halo Waypoint fan event.  We shall see…
