Publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Spiders Games have released a brand new story trailer at E3 2018 for their upcoming RPG, GreedFall. Originally planned for release in 2018, GreedFall now has a release window of 2019 and is currently in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
GreedFall is being developed by Spiders, the studio behind Bound By Flame and The Technomancer. GreedFall is a magic-centric RPG set in an alternate 17th century world inspired by European Baroque art. The environment consists of a warm color palette and darker tones.
The E3 trailer for GreedFall shows settlers, treasure hunters, and mercenaries fleeing from a polluted, disease-ridden continent. The refugees arrive on a remote island filled with magic and rumored to contain a plethora of lost secrets. Magical and supernatural beings come to the aid of the locals when a clash between the locals and the incoming settlers ensues, causing you to be caught in the middle.
GreedFall is an RPG at its core, with a strong focus on magic and mystery. GreedFall will launch for Xbox One, PS4, and PC sometime in 2019.
