Sony has revealed this month’s round of “free” games delivered to PlayStation Plus subscribers the first Tuesday of every month. The new PS Plus offerings for June 2022 run an impressive genre variety considering only three games are involved. The massively popular God of War headlines the set, alongside Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. These games will replace the current offerings on June 7, and will be available for members until July 4.
There’s a big ol’ AAA game that has sold bajillions of copies (and was recently released on PC), one of the most recent anime-based arena fighters and of course a game that’s actually standing to benefit from the attention. It’s worth noting that PS5 owners with active PS Plus subscriptions already have access to God of War, making this set a little redundant for those users.

It’s also important to remember June 2022 is the rollout month for what Sony has been calling the “all-new PlayStation Plus.” This brings all kinds of new content to subscribers based on their subscription tier, so it makes sense to see a less bombastic month following last month’s surprising FIFA 22 inclusion.
We reviewed Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, with Jesse Vitelli feeling like the game doesn’t quite stick the landing. Interestingly enough, this is coming following the closed beta test for Multiversus, which I personally enjoyed quite a bit.
