A new Gears 5 Xbox One X system is on the way and it is heckin’ gorgeous, especially if you’re a long-time Gears of War fan such as myself. Making a dramatic pivot from the previous black and red motiff, the latest limited edition console is a crisp pearl with the Gears logo boldly emblazoned on its frame. To say it’s sexy is a massive understatement, at least if you’re me.

According to the team over at Microsoft, “Featuring the Omen submerged in ice and snow, the Xbox One X Gears 5 Limited Edition Bundle ($499) — the first Limited Edition Xbox One X since the Project Scorpio Edition — is designed by The Coalition and the Xbox Industrial Design Team. Available for preorder today at participating retailers worldwide, including Microsoft Store, the Xbox One X Gears 5 Limited Edition console features a never-before-seen dark translucent casing and laser-etched cracks across the console’s icy top surface, with snow drifting across a golden Locust symbol on the back.”

The bundle itself includes a special Kait-edition Xbox Wireless Controller a full-game download of the Ultimate Edition, and full downloads of Gears of War 2, 3, and 4. As per usual, it also comes with a free 1-month trial of the Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold, which comes with free games every month, in addition to a few special in-game character skins.
