If you exercised WITHOUT this hilarious Destiny 2 Shaxxercise workout mixtape, did you REALLY workout? Probably not, but luckily, we can help you right those wrongs. If you checked out our Zavala’s Office guide, seen here, there’s a moment in the middle where we talk about a mixtape Easter egg to find when breaking into the vault for the Pale Horse questline. Now you don’t have to jump through hoops to get in on this jazzed up action because Bungie just released the full Destiny 2 Shaxxercise workout mixtape!

According to the video’s official description, “With all of this turmoil going on, how does Zavala relax? We already know that (according to Destiny lore) he likes his knitting and crocheting. But with the introduction of the Fourth Horseman Exotic quest, Guardians learned about a new personal passion for Zavala: slinging iron and getting a good cardio burn, accompanied by sick beats and a most unusual trainer.”

The mixtape splices a dope beat with Shaxx’s amped-up voice lines used to get Guardians ready for action in the Crucible. Put your back into it and take those zones. Shaxx-y boi won’t call the match with you taking the L if you listen to this while taking out enemy players. We’re not sure if that’s exactly how it works, but it sounds cool so we’re going with it.

To get into Zavala’s office to hear the mixtape in-game, check out our nifty guide right here for how to get into where you need to be to kickstart the Pale Horse questline picked up from the Titan. As for the game itself, Destiny 2 is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Steam, and Google Stadia.
