Downloadable content for the Borderlands games has always been something that really reaches out to their audience, something with great relatable content, and yet something that’s also hardcore and demands the utmost attention from players, both those going solo and teaming up with their friends in co-op. But even this forthcoming announcement from the company could very well be going off the beaten path…
In an interview with the folks at GameZone today, Gearbox’s Anthony Burch, writer for Borderlands 2, and Paul Hellquist, creative director for the series, explained that something big is coming, and it’s going to be a little weird.
When asked about the future of DLC for the hit sequel, all Hellquist would say is, “You just might see one of those bizarre ideas in the near future.”
Bizarre ideas, eh? Perhaps we’ll get a virtual toilet again like we did in Saints Row The Third. Nah…that’s been done…but what about killer sinks?
We’ll have more coverage on this DLC when it’s officially announced. Get ready for weird!
