Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes Coming to Switch in June 2022

My monkey paw didn't curl in the slightest

Today’s Nintendo Direct started with an absolute banger, if you’re asking me and a few peers who aren’t dastardly Musou haters. Coming on June 24, 2022, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes brings Omega Force’s distinct brand of action to the Three Houses universe.

In the trailer, we’re shown gameplay featuring the three main characters of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Edelgard, Claude and Dimitri all show up to take out thousands of foes with their signature weapons from the original game. That said, the game’s debut flavor text notes “prepare for a different story” set in this universe. So while we seem to have a focus on the Three Houses universe, this is likely still some non-canon shenanigans.

Fire Emblem Warriors was released for the Switch in 2017, and is probably the only Musou title on the platform that runs pretty well. Here’s to hoping the same holds true for the sequel.
